The Performing Arts Centre Advocacy Group (PACAG) is a grassroots coalition of dedicated community members, artists, educators, and business leaders, working with the support of the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge.
Our mission is clear: to keep the need for a new Performing Arts Centre front and centre in civic planning.
We came together in 2014 with a shared belief that a modern performing arts facility is essential to Lethbridge’s cultural and economic future. Since then, PACAG has worked tirelessly to build awareness, momentum, and understanding for this vital community project.
Over the past decade, we’ve:
-
Held one-on-one stakeholder meetings with business leaders, educators, and policymakers.
-
Delivered presentations to service clubs, arts organizations, and members of the local business community, including Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce and SACPA.
-
Participated in public events, open houses, and community festivals, speaking directly with residents about the importance of a Performing Arts Centre in Lethbridge.
-
Collaborated with the City of Lethbridge during multiple phases of the project’s planning and consultation.
Our work is driven by the belief that the performing arts are more than entertainment — they are a reflection of who we are as a city. A new Performing Arts Centre will give Lethbridge the stage it deserves, creating space for connection, creativity, and community pride.
PACAG continues to engage residents, decision-makers, and partners to ensure this long-awaited project becomes a reality — one that will serve generations to come.
